I ordered a same day delivery bouquet at 2.30pm, knowing the cut off was 3pm. Having not received any communication from either the recipient of the flowers (to say they had arrived) or Interflora, I contacted customer service the next morning and was informed that the florist was unable to meet the request and they were looking for another one to fulfil the order that day. The flowers were finally delivered at 2.30pm the day after they were supposed to arrive.
Although I have no complaints on the quality of the flowers or the way customer service handled it once I had spoken with them, it is pretty bad service that no-one informed me on the day that the flowers wouldn't be delivered on time and it took me having to contact Interflora the next day to find out what was happening.
I won't be using Interflora again for a same day delivery.
My gift target was on holiday in Tenerife on 26th April, the gift date. Interflora phoned on the day to check if she was at home, she was not but IF accepted to keep the flowers for her til 4th May. She collected the flowers and was very happy with them and their state of freshness. I only send flowers once in every 5 or 10 years so have no idea of the state of value in the market. Flowers are not a utility product and can only be judged by the pleasure they bring. My gift was a success.
Good choice of flowers, delivered on time and of good quality. The quality of flowers and delivery is always consistent. A bit too expensive though as you can buy similar flowers in many stores on the road for much less.
I've used Interflora a lot over the last few years, this order was flowers for a birthday present and glad I went with the extra large option as the regular option may not have come with any flowers. Really unimpressed witih the size of the present. I also specifically ordered the flowers to be delivered in the morning, "Delivery is due to take place on 23/11/2016 between 8 AM and 12 PM as requested.", they didn't arrive till 2:30pm. Not sure why I paid extra for this either.
Will give two stars because at least what did arrive was better than nothing.
