I ordered a vibrant gift bag as a leaving gift for one of our team and when it arrived I found it to be quite small especially for the price. The flowers also had seen better days, I am not sure if it was because it was a Friday or not but they looked like they would survive the weekend but no more. The speed of delivery was really good though.
A very late change of order notification,but lovely flowers
I placed an order 3 days ahead of delivery for an AM slot. I received a voicemail at 10:30am on the day of delivery to advise the florist couldn't fulfill the order exactly as it was on the website. The person leaving the message advised as they've had to leave a message they've decided to go ahead with the change to meet my delivery slot. The change itself is not an issue, I would have agreed to the changes anyway but leaving it until the morning of delivery to contact me I felt was poor especially as I had placed the order 3 days previous. The flowers were beautiful and the recipient was very pleased with them.
Whilst the flowers were lovely and my sister was pleased with them, I had paid extra for them to be delivered in the morning. They weren't, which is disappointing. My sister was in all morning, until just after 1pm. She was away for the weekend and eventually found the flowers left outside of her flat, in the entrance hall. No one had called her mobile despite me giving this information on the request. So having paid extra, they were not delivered on time, no one called to confirm delivery and then they were just left outside of her flat. Most disappointing, when the delivery charge is approximately a 3rd of the cost.
I ordered this for my mum and it was delivered the same day within two hours. My mum contacted me when she received them to say how thrilled she was with them. She text me a picture too and from what I could tell they were just what I wanted. Great value for money and a good range of flowers in a lovely range of colours.
Quality of flowers ok - however I chose that specific bunch as the bag had a particular meaning. Sadly the bag wasn't the one advertised therefore the meaning was lost. Was disappointed by this! Will look elsewhere next time.
Although these flowers were lovely, as well as the chocolates and balloon, they were all much smaller than I expected, and considering the price I paid, I don't think its worth the money, I would have been better off getting a few bunches of flowers from a supermarket instead. The only real pro to Interflora is the convenience to get same day delivery on flowers.
I haven't seen the flowers but the recipient was over the moon with them! What I was impressed with was the friendly, enthusiastic service by the gentleman on the end of the phone taking the order from me. He was so positive, empathetic,but so enthusiastic and you could hear his wonderful smile down the end of the phone! It was very refreshing and made me smile, as did the flowers when my friend received them....
Great flowers, really fresh and colourful. The perfect selection for reminding my wife that we love her. The only negative is with Interflora's delivery charge. To pay double the fee to request a morning delivery seems a bit extreme (£10!!!), especilally when the flowers aren't cheap in the first place.
It was a lovely surprise for my partner, although it wasn't until about an hour after delivery that I realised there should have been a balloon to accompany the flowers. A quick call to Interflora (who contacted the florist) and it was delivered to us later that day (together with some yummy chocolates as an apology). The driver apologised as he "lost" the balloon earlier while his van was open. We laugh about it now as it didn't spoil the day.
The quality of the flowers were ok, nothing all like the picture on the Interflora site.
I has paid for an upgrade to a larger selection, but when I saw pictures of what was actually received, this upgrade obviously wasn't put through to the florist, and whilst there may be substitutions made, this was supposed to be a vibrant colour display. All of the flowers were dark purple etc, there was 1 pink rose but this was the only non dark colour.
