Firstly, let me say that the flowers were nice, although a bit on the expensive side.
Shortly after the order was placed, I received a phone call from the florist (very friendly) to say that the vase listed in the product description was no longer in stock and would be substituted. Good customer service I thought.
However, on the day of collection (the closeness to my home did not justify the delivery charge), upon entering the shop I was met by what I can only describe as indifference by the sole member of staff present. Upon giving my name, I was told that my flowers were "over there" (accompanying nod) and was left to get them from the counter myself.
Upon giving the flowers to the recipient, we discovered that the card had not been written, despite the exact wording appearing on my receipt. The recipient laughed it off, but I was very embarrassed.
I have made the assumption that the person in the shop was not the same friendly person who called me a few days earlier, but someone who gave the impression that she was hanging around until a better offer came along.
Whilst I cannot fault Interflora centrally, should I use the service again (doubtful at the moment), I will definitely be selecting an alternative delivery/collection location.
I forgot to order my Mum some flowers for her birthday so before i got into trouble i ordered on line on Sunday and they were delivered on the Monday morning to my Mum in Cornwall so she was very happy and so was I at the fast service which we received.
Recently ordered from another internet flower shop and was bitterly disappointed when they told me last minute they could not deliver the flowers. Recently, Interflora prompted via email a day before my sister's birthday. Flowers were ordered, they looked beautiful on arrival, were delivered on time and not only that when she did not answer the door they left them in the porch (upon my request) and took them out of the box and displayed them on the shelf for her to find. Taking risks is good but not at the expense of loved ones so will be sticking to Interflora in the future! :)
I recently sent my mum some flowers to thank her for helping us with childcare when our daughter was poorly. I visited my mother on Monday and saw the flowers and to say I was disappointed was an under statement. The arrangement was so sparse that I asked my mum if she had removed some of the flowers from the arrangement and put them elsewhere. This was meant to be a thank you gift an quite frankly I feel extremely disappointed as I ordered through Interflora as I felt it was a brand to be trusted but I shall not be ordering again.
The flowers arrived fresh and were still looking good after a week. There was a lovely mix of flower types and colours but the vase they came in was not globe shaped as shown on the Interflora site. It was waisted, which would not have mattered if it weren't for the fact that the bouquet was called AUTUMN BRIGHTS GLOBE PLUS indicating that a globe shaped vase was a particular feature of it and I had actually chosen this product particularly for the shape of the vase. I had ordered the flowers a week ahead of the delivery date and would have appreciated being informed that a globe shaped vase was not available and given the option of choosing another product.
After placing my order I was called to say the vase that came with the flowers was out of stock so they would use a pink one similar (they actually used a purple one) which I agreed to as I was away on holiday and had no other choice. When I returned from holiday and visited my mum I saw the flowers and was so dissappointed. The vase was too large for the flowers that it made it look like a cheap bouquet from a supermarket. The vase didn't even match the bouquet. I was better off at the supermarket where I could have bought 4 bouquets for the price I paid for these. It is safe to say I will not be using interflora again!
So I placed an order over the phone for the chief executive of my company, to be delivered at Westminster Cathedral, first person I spoke to was helpful and informative, next day I added to the order the another member of staff. These were to be presented at our annual general meeting. As the address was not coming on the system I asked them to put on the delivery instructions to call me prior to delivery. I also booked am delivery for an additional 8 pounds.
The first person gave me the name of the florist to call. On the day of my event around 12.30 I called this florist and they did not have my order. Then I phoned interflora and they said the order went to a different florist. Interflora had not passed on my am delivery So I was robbed of the delivery charge.
The delivery driver very unprofessional from momentum flowers was rude and did not call me and the flowers were delivered to the wrong side of the hall already 2 hours late. When I eventually found the flowers they had both names of the different people that were being presented the flowers on both bunches and were no way as nice as images at 50 pound a bunch I feel like I got robbed.
I was not going to leave a review but seeing as I received an email to review them I thought might aswell.
This was not a cheap gift but I wanted it delivered before 12 which cost extra and I thought it was worth it. It arrived in time and the recipient was thrilled. The colours were rich and strong and it lasted well. The berries looked good and the vase was a deep red and can be kept afterwards. The only disappointment was that the vase was not round as in the picture. However it looked good anyway and the recipient was not aware.
Found the ordering process to be very quick and easy. Lots of wonderful choices and sizes. We opted to send a bouquet in a vase something that you can keep. We were kept updated on delivery each step of the way. Once delivered we had a very happy person calling us saying what a wonderful present it was and they loved the flowers and especially the vase. Top rate from start to finish, would use again.
