Hosts of the largest street party in the world (on New Years Eve) and a world famous arts festival, Edinburgh is a vibrant Scottish city with much to offer. But did you know its also the home of the worlds oldest floral clock? Located in Princes Street Gardens, in the heart of the city, the first floral clock was created in 1903 by the Edinburgh Parks Superintendent, John McHattie, with the assistance of a local jeweller and a clock manufacturer. Today, it takes up to three weeks to painstakingly create each clock design and over 35,000 plants are used.
Rest assured, Edinburghs Interflora florists will also take the same care and attention over the floral creation you wish to send to your friend or loved one in Edinburgh. Each of our hand-picked team takes pleasure in creating stunning bouquets and gifts that are guaranteed to surprise and delight. Its no wonder 4/5 customers rate us as good to excellent.
