Flowers were lovely but sadly the water had leaked out of the travel pot and we had delivered a very soggy falling to pieces box which was a little dissapointing and sort of spoiled the surprise a little but maybe to be expected. Think the carriers need to be more careful in keeping things upright and not allow them to be thrown around the van.
This is the second time I have ordered a bouquet. The first was fabulous. This year, they arrived in a wet box and the flowers looked pretty sorry for themselves. I ordered them for my brother for his wife's birthday as he works abroad. I was really disappointed and sent an email saying as much. Interflora took the complaint seriously and re-sent the bouquet, together with a bottle of wine as recompense. I was happy with the response of the customer service, but there again, it should never have happened. It took two attempts to make my sister in law feel special, by then, the suprise element was long gone
I contacted Interflora as I had not heard from the recipricates. They assured me that the delivery noted 'left in secured position'. I rang the eighty year old plus recipricates. Oh yes we got it the driver brought the wrong one to the door but went to his van and came back with the right one. It was damaged and one rose broken. I said I would complain but as often with this age of person they said no don't worry. I felt it would cause them concern if another was delivered so I left it. However, over the years I have always used Interflora you can check my record. I will not use again.
The flowers were delivered to the wrong address, very late in the day. We had to charge around the neighbourhood looking for them. A card had been left to indicate that they had been delivered, but that was posted to the wrong address too.
Also, in this internet age, guaranteeing delivery only "between 7am and 7pm" is not good enough. We ended up staying all day to wait for this delivery, and it ruined our planned evening.
The next day delivery service by Yodel was poor. The flowers were left in the porch despite the recepient being at home, so why the delivery person did not ring the bell heaven knows. They arrived very late at around 7pm apparently. Yodel have a very poor track record and reputation so why Interflora continues to use them, delivery will be a big problem.
An excellent product with the recipients delighted. We were all so pleased that Fair Trade flowers are available. I was just slightly worried as the bouquet didn't arrive until late afternoon and was beginning to think something had gone wrong. Perhaps an indication of approximate arrival time could be useful.
Unfortunately none of the roses opened so my sister was very disapponted with the flowers sent to her for her special birthday. She is now going out to buy supermarket roses to replace those in the bouquet. Such a shame for the amount spent on them.
I was very impressed with interflora . Having received a bouquet last year via their service, which was beautiful, I decided to use them to send a bouquet to mark a retirement . It was easy to order and I was able to track the order through every stage. It was delivered at 11.00am and I received a text message 30 minutes later to inform me it had been delivered. I was told by the recipient that it was fabulous and beautifully packed in an upright box, standing in water.
The box the flowers were delivered in was damaged and looked like it had been thrown out the back of the van. Also the printed gift card had some garbled characters where the word fiancée was supposed to be. I assume the automated printing could not handle accents. Very poor. However, the flowers were of a good quality but I will not be using Interflora again.
