Very disappointed in the flower arrangement sent to my mother on her birthday. Delivery driver in a rush, box containing the flowers was soaking wet where the water must have spilled over in the back of the van. The flower selection was poor and the quality of the flowers was not of the standard I usually expect from inter-flora. I have to state that this particular delivery would make me reconsider using inter-flora again in the future.
The flowers were enthusiastically received, although it was a shame we couldn't get it delivered on her actual birthday as the 29th December most floral shops were shut. But it was a fabulous bouquet and very good value for money.
Unable to comment on quality, freshness or longevity as I did not see the bouquet but the recipient was pleased and said it was beautiful. I don't think that Interflora is particularly good value but I find it efficient and very easy and convenient which is a major factor for me.
I was really disappointed when my mum rang me to thank me for 'the buds'. I was expecting her to receive the lovely, bright arrangement shown in photographs but what she actually received was a bunch of flowers which mostly hadn't bloomed yet. Whilst I appreciate this means they'll last longer, it wasn't exactly what I wanted her to open the door to! The fact that only a few roses and freesias were open meant that the arrangement was quite messy and lacked any impact or immediate beauty. Also, I ordered a vase thinking they would come displayed in it. They didn't - everything was packed inside a cardboard box which was soaked through and broken at the bottom. Very disappointed with the overall quality - I didn't want her to have flowers that would bloom days after receiving them. I wanted her to have the flowers shown in the photos.
These were bought for a birthday surprise and they certainly did the trick. Ordering and paying for them was painless, excellent value and still going strong a over week later. Will definitely be ordering again in the future.
Having used Interflora previously We decided to send flowers to our mothers who both have birthdays in March to cover both occasions. However I am told that the flowers that went to my wife's mother could have been a little fresher, this was remedied in a timely manner. It is good value for us especially now that the post office mail/handling charges have suddenly become very expensive. I.E. the last gifts we sent, our mothers in England, they had to pay import duties on before the post office would hand them over. We will continue to use Interflora services in the future.
Flowers arrived on the day but there was a bit of trouble about leaving them in the designated safe place, courier decided it wasn't safe enough and the situation was only rescued when a neighbour took them in. The flowers were very nice and seemed to be as described, they looked value for the price and seemed fresh.
I ordered these flowers with a vase as my mum has poor eye sight and I believed the flowers would come already displayed in the vase. I was very disappointed when mum said the vase was separate and she still had to arrange them. She has plenty of vases already so I wasn't impressed!
