I bought these flowers on a same day delivery which I cannot fault. They were delivered as promised.
The flowers where delivered on Mon 22nd September and when I visited my friend yesterday, Sunday 28th, nearly all the flowers had died despite them being watered. They stood looking very pathetic next to a cheap bunch from a local supermarket chain that my friend tells me were still going strong after 2 weeks. I have images of the wilting flowers which I would love to post but the format of this form won't let me unfortunately!
When you are not on the spot to offer personal congratulations, then, the greatest bargain and quickest way to bring happiness is Interflora. The baby did not appreciate the flowers, but the mother was delight -ted for both of them.
I had already given my daughter a gift but just wanted to have a small token gift of flowers too. These just looked a bit sparse and thrown together in the vase. The blue woven ring encircling the flowers was not put in centrally which added to the 'amateurish' look. It was just a bit disappointing for such a special occasion.
Ordered the baby boy hand-tied with vase for a friend and pleased we ordered the large as it was not as large as it looked. The roses were fully open and only lasted 3/4 days but the other flowers did last. A useful vase though!
I only gave one star as I it would not let me submit no stars! I ordered the New baby boy plus with teddy bear and balloon. as you can see from the picture it is FULL of flowers with purples and yellows and it looks beautiful. My order came to alot of money!! When it arrived they were all white flowers except 2 small yellow flowers and 2 buds of purple flowers which hadn't bloomed. there was no colour to it at all. some of the leaves were broken and I cant tell you how upset i have been today. it was for my sister who has just given birth after a difficult pregnancy. I could have got a nicer bunch of flowers from a supermarket this morning.
Unfortunately I was not the receiver of the flowers, nor did I see them so I can only assume the flowers were OK. All I can comment upon is the service. I ordered flowers on line last Monday morning and they were delivered the same day as requested, so I am pleased with that part of the process.
Dissapointed: This was an anniversary surprise for my wife that in all honesty, was an embarrassment for her to receive in front of colleagues. I must first make it clear that I am not concerned in any way with the efficiency of the florist, they presented the correct type and number and type of flowers indicated while delivering the product on time. However, the product did not realistically represent the image presented on the web site. The flowers were small with the vase easily overpowering the presentation. In general, it all looked quiet pathetic for the price compared with what I was encouraged to expect from the image on the Web site. I paid for the PLUS flowers and can only wonder what a smaller presentation would have looked like. This is the problem of Interflora and not the florist. It is their duty to ensure that images presented on the site are realistic and in keeping with the product that one can expect to receive. I have decided to always use a local florist diredt in future.
I ordered the Baby Boy bouquet in a vase & upgraded to the larger bouquet. I added the Bailey Bear & a single new baby boy balloon. Value for money was not good. The flowers & gifts were well received, but in my opinion not really worth what I paid for them. The flowers didn't last at all well & considering I upgraded to the large bouquet I thought there were too few flowers. My advice would be to pick up a bouquet & gift locally if you can & hand deliver them rather than use this service.
I have no problem with the balloon & Bailey bear that I added to the bouquet. However, the bouquet itself was a little disappointing. I upgraded to a larger bouquet & expected a little more for my money.
Flowers and vase very pleasant, but disappointed in size of gift considering how much had been paid for it (and the additional £5 option had been taken). In comparison with the photo on the website, appears much smaller in reality. Only time will tell how long the flowers last - I would expect a minimum of two weeks.
