The quality of the flowers I sent my mum for mothers' day was excellent. They lasted over 2 weeks and were exactly as described - a mix of lovely spring flowers and lilies - my mum's favourite.
Delivery charges on top of the cost of the flowers are expensive though - despite being an Interflora gold member I was charged just under £10 to deliver on Mothers' Day which I feel was excessive as I have made an annual fee to be a gold member to save on delivery costs.
I recently ordered some flowers to send to my pregnant girlfriend, as she hadn't been well I wanted to cheer her up.
The flowers were extremely poor value for money and looked like I had made a half hearted attempt. Leaving me feeling extremely embarrassed. The received gift was a tiny bouquet with hardly any flowers, which felt very poor value for money. In addition to this I was charged and additional £7.95 with out being told for same day delivery.
I will never use this service again, competitors offer far better value for money and don't add on secret delivery charges that your not told about.
Flower quality was great as normal but delivered a day late which is not good enough. Used them lots of time and never been let down with delivery but on this time was but quality of the flowers was as expected.
I was away on holiday in Australia and wanted some flowers for my Mum who was staying in a rest home. I phoned her on Mothers Day and she had received the flowers on the day before (as planned). She was delighted with them, she was very happy so I was too.
Ordered flowers to be delivered on 15th March, rang back a few days later to amend the deilvery date as recipient wasnt going to be home on the delivery date. Got confirmation of amendment. Few days later got confirmation of cancellation, rang customer services who said it had been cancelled by error on your part. Reinstated order for delivery day on 17th March, confirmed all ok. Flowers were delivered on 15th March (wrong date!) left outside for two days and not in a good state by the time the receipient got them.
The quality is always excellent. The goods always arrive on time. Whats most important to me is, I live in Bermuda with family in the UK. The fact that I can get quality, delivered on time is very important. Interflora has never let me down. Even in winter when I know the weather can by bad. I also find there website very user friendly, I like the fact that Interflora stores all your addresses for you, so it is a simple click on a name, and up pops the recipients address. This is so good and more websites should take note!! Please don't change Interflora, please keep this excellent service going. It's so nice to see in this modern day and age. :O)
Every year I order lots of flowers. There are birthdays, Easter and Mother's Day. This year I ordered four sets of flowers / plants for Mother's Day; three arrived and one didn't. When I rang, the number put me through to someone in the US who then gave me another number and the poor man at the end of that line told me that the flowers for my Mum were probably going to arrive on Monday, the day AFTER Mother's Day. I was very upset.
They did arrive, at 10:15 p.m. The delivery man left them on her door step, rang the bell, returned to his car, watched her open the door and drove off. No greeting, apology or explanation. To top that, my Mum then told me that they were low quality and small - great news at 11:00 p.m. on Mother's Day.
I have used Interflora a number of times over the years for special occasions, however I must say that I was disappointed with the quality of flowers that were delivered to my Wife and Mother for Mother's Day this year. The quality wasn't was as I have come to expect from Interflora, however they did replace the flowers and offered me a full refund to their credit.
I found the whole process of ordering to be simple and easy to complete. It was great being able to track the order. I was a bit apprehensive as I have used other on line companies to order flowers and badly let down. I need not have worried. On time and more importantly just like the picture I saw on line. My wife was delighted with the flowers and they lasted a considerable length of time. Perfect balance in the bouquet of open flowers , greenery and the surprise of the flowers that were to open.
I will definitely use again and I can wholeheartedly recommend.
I had paid for the extra large bunch but was very disappointed with the size of it, to me it looked the same size as the normal stem bunch. On the plus side they were bright and cheery and they arrived on time just as my aunt got home from hospital. Not sure i would pay the extra fee in future for the extra stems and would probably try elsewhere in future.
It was my daughter birthday; she lives in London UK and I live in Edmonton Canada...the flower arrangement was beautiful and she received them on time. That is as simple and very effective; the way it should be! Thank you :).
