On 31st August 2006, Interflora completed the sale of the business to FTD Group, Inc. FTD Group, Inc. are a leading US provider of floral services and products and a direct marketer of flowers and speciality gifts.

FTD Group, Inc. (“FTD”) was acquired by United Online, Inc. (“United Online”) on 26th August, 2008. As a result of the acquisition, FTD joins United Online’s group of consumer product and service companies including Classmates (online social networking), MyPoints (online loyalty marketing), and NetZero and Juno (Internet access and email).
