It might feel like today we’re more connected than ever – people are only a notification away – but in reality, lots of us are lonely. And that loneliness is a real problem. According to the World Health Organization strong social connection reduces the risk of early death and supports both physical and mental health. It’s time we step up and hold out our hands. It’s time to boost our bonds and find those moments of meaningful connection that are essential for our wellbeing.

WHAT IS THE WEEK OF CONNECTION?

We believe that time together in person is essential for our wellbeing, yet modern life often keeps our connections at a surface level.

The Week of Connection is our invitation to change that — a moment to pause, meet up, and make space for real-life connection.

From the 8th to the 14th of June we’re inviting you, your mum, your boss, the whole of the UK to take part in a week of connection. A week to step away from the screens and up to their front door; a week to make time for meaningful in-person moments.

Because flowers are a beautiful way to bridge distance when you can’t be there, but when you can, nothing creates a deeper or more lasting connection than simply being together.

To reward you for connecting IRL, we’re giving you the chance to win flowers - thoughtfully designed to bring you even closer together.

How to take part:

  1. Make a plan to connect meaningfully, in person, with someone you care about this week (8th-14th June).
  2. Share your experience on Instagram using #WeekofConnection and tag @InterfloraUK.
  3. Nominate others to join in and help create a ripple effect of real-world connection.

#WeekofConnection Competition Terms and Conditions

1. Open to UK and Ireland residents aged 18 or over only, excluding employees and their immediate families of the Promoters, its agents, associates, printers or anyone professionally connected with the promotion.

2. The competition starts at 08:00 on Monday 8th June 2026 and ends 00:00 on Sunday 14th June 2026. Entries received after the closing date will not be entered in the prize draw.

3. To qualify for entry into the competition share a photo of you connecting in person on Instagram using the hashtag #WeekofConnection and tagging @InterfloraUK.

4. Entries are not limited to one per person, unless otherwise stated in the post offering you entry into the competition.

5. There will be one winner per day between Monday 8th June 2026 and Sunday 14th June 2026. Winners will be chosen at random and contacted on Instagram.

6. No purchase necessary.

7. Winner will be drawn at random after the closing date and will be contacted and notified by social media. Winner will be required to confirm their name and address to enable the prize to be awarded. The prize winner will also be required to confirm a contact telephone number for themselves to enable the prize to be awarded. In the unfortunate event of any prize winner failing to notify us of their details within 7 days, the prize will be re-drawn and a new winner selected.

8. Fake or suspected fake accounts: Entries made using fake, automated, or suspicious accounts are not valid. If a winner is drawn and the Promoter reasonably believes the account to be fake, fraudulent, or otherwise inauthentic, the Promoter reserves the right to invalidate the entry and redraw a new winner.

9. By entering this promotion, entrants give consent for their details to be shared with each Promoter to enable prizes to be awarded.

10. Prizes will be sent out within 28 days following receipt of the winner’s details. Delivery is available in the UK and Ireland, however, some restrictions may apply.

11. There are no cash alternatives, the prize is not transferable or exchangeable.

12. Prizes are subject to availability. In the event of unforeseen circumstances the Promoter reserves the right to substitute any prize for an alternative of equal or greater value.

13. Winners may be required to take part in unpaid related promotional publicity (such as publicity and photography) surrounding the winning of the prize, free of charge, and they consent to the Promoter using their name and image in promotional material.

14. By entering the promotion, entrants agree to be bound by these terms and conditions and by the decisions of Interflora, that are final in all matters relating to the promotion. No correspondence will be entered into. These terms and conditions do not affect your statutory rights.

15. Interflora are not responsible for any problems or technical malfunction of computer online systems, servers, or providers, computer equipment or software, failure of any social media site entries to be received on account of technical problems or traffic congestion on the internet, or any combination of these, including any injury or damage to entrant’s or any other person’s computer related to or resulting from participation in the promotion.

16. The Promoter reserves the right to terminate, amend or extend this promotion.

17. Please retain these terms and conditions for future reference.

18. Entry to this giveaway will be deemed to constitute full acceptance of these terms and conditions.
